Liest sich in einem Ritt, guter Stil, historisch interessant.Trotz der Schilderung von harten persönlichen Erlebnissen bleibt die Autorin sachlichund fair selbst gegenüber ihren Widersachern.

Die beeindruckende authentische Geschichte lässt sich flüssig lesen und ist mit einigen Fotos belegt. Parallelen bestehen zum Klassiker "Die Revolution entlässt ihre Kinder" (Wolfgang Leonhard).Ergänzend möchte ich aus aktuellem Anlass darauf hinweisen, dass eine realistische Schilderung des Stalinismus gern (beispielsweise von Vera Wollenberger-Lengsfeld) dazu benutzt wird, unseren demokratischen (?) Globalkapitalismus mit allen seinen Auswüchsen als "alternativlos" (zurecht Unwort des Jahres 2010) darzustellen und quasi Denkverbote gegenüber modifizierten Wertesystemen auszusprechen.Die Verfasserin dieses guten Buches würde sich bei Kenntnis mancher Interpretation im Grabe umdrehen. Nicht jeder Gedankengang links von der CDU (die wievielte von Frau Vera ausprobierte Partei war das doch gleich) hat etwas mit Stalinismus zu tun.
Das Buch hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Sonja Friedmann-Wolff schildert sehr interessant ihr Leben und das Leben ihrer kommunistischen Eltern, die mit ihr aus dem nationalsozialistischen Deutschland in die Sowjetunion geflohen sind.
